1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mazraati (mazraati-dz.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mazraati.

2. Description of Service

Mazraati is a smart farming platform designed for Algerian farmers. Our services include:

  • AI-powered crop recommendations based on soil, climate, and location data
  • Land mapping and polygon-based farm management
  • Satellite-based soil analysis and regional data cross-referencing
  • Water source analysis and groundwater feasibility assessment
  • AI-generated land investment insights and agricultural advisory

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. One person may not maintain more than one account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. AI-Generated Content

Mazraati uses artificial intelligence (including third-party AI services) to generate crop recommendations, land analyses, and agricultural advice. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional agricultural, financial, or legal advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated recommendations. Agricultural decisions based on our AI recommendations are made at your own risk. You should always consult with local agricultural experts before making significant farming decisions.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you provide to Mazraati, including land boundaries, soil observations, and farming records. By using our service, you grant Mazraati a non-exclusive license to process your data for the purpose of providing our services. We may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve our algorithms and services. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, algorithms, and branding on Mazraati are the exclusive property of Mazraati and are protected by intellectual property laws. The crop scoring algorithms, climate models, and regional analysis systems are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our platform.

7. Prohibited Uses

  • Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
  • Using automated tools to scrape data or overload our servers
  • Uploading malicious content or attempting to compromise our systems
  • Reselling or redistributing our AI-generated analyses without permission

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Mazraati offers free and paid subscription tiers. Payments are processed through Chargily, a licensed Algerian payment provider. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Free tier users are subject to usage limits on AI features.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mazraati is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any agricultural recommendations will produce specific results. Satellite data, climate data, and soil analyses are based on publicly available datasets and may contain inaccuracies. Crop price data is sourced from FAO and local markets and may not reflect real-time prices.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Algerian law, Mazraati shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of crops, profits, or data, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Mazraati in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, but anonymized data may be retained.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Algiers, Algeria.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of Mazraati after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
